Tips
- Avoid ‘low-fat/sugar/diet” products and go for “original/normal/full-fat” versions
- Mix all dried ingredients together before adding milk
- Drinks can be prepared in advance and stored with a cover in the fridge for three days but beware of separation of drinks
- If prepared in advance, shake well before serving
- Blend ingredients using a hand blender or liquidiser to mix until smooth consistency
- Eat little but often – aim to eat and drink every two to three hours
Cup a soup (1 portion, 200mls)
Ingredients
- 200mls full cream milk
- 2 heaped teaspoons of whole milk powder
- 1 x packet cup a soup
Instructions
- Mix together the milk, milk powder and cup a soup
- Simmer in a saucepan or microwave until hot throughout and serve
Tips
- Milk can rise quickly when heated so watch it doesn’t boil over!
- Can be topped with a teaspoon grated cheese for an extra 20kcals
- High in vitamin B12

Hot chocolate (1 portion, 150mls)
Ingredients
- 150ml full cream milk
- 1 heaped teaspoon of whole milk powder
- 4 teaspoons of single cream
- 3 heaped teaspoons of hot chocolate/Horlicks/Ovaltine powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and heat until simmering in a saucepan or microwave until hot throughout
Tips

Ingredients
- 150mls full cream milk

Method
- Mix together the milk, cream and milk powder
- Heat until simmering in a saucepan or microwave
- Once simmering, remove from heat and add the coffee powder

- 145mls of full cream milk
- 145mls of double cream

Instructions
- Mix the milk powder and angel delight/instant whip together in a bowl
- Whisk in the milk and cream until thick and creamy
- Spoon the mixture evenly into individual bowls
- Place in the fridge until set
Tips
- Store in the fridge at all times and use within 24 hours
