Essential maintenance
From Monday 23 March to Friday 10 April, the women’s and children’s reception at James Cook Hospital will be closed for maintenance.
During this time, the women and children’s entrance will be for emergencies only.
Antenatal clinic patients should use the door to the left of the women and children’s main entrance.
Other patients are asked to use the south entrance.
The nearest car parking machine will be in south entrance during this time.

- Maternal medicine for women with existing medical problems
- Fetal medicine – to monitor babies who have a problem
- Vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC) – for all women who have had a previous caesarean section
- Healthy lifestyle – for women who have an increased BMI
- General obstetrics – for women requiring high dependency care
- Multiple pregnancy team
- Talk about birth (TAB)
- General postnatal clinics
