Our urgent care services provide patient care for those with minor injuries and illnesses. Staff from North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, local GP federation Hartlepool and Stockton Health (H&SH) and the North East Ambulance Service work in alliance to provide the services at Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Redcar.
The service is for urgent needs only – giving treatment for a range of minor injuries and illnesses. There are centres – three being open 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week, located at:
- University Hospital of Hartlepool
- University Hospital of North Tees
- The James Cook University Hospital
- Redcar Primary Care Hospital (open 8am until midnight)
If you are unwell and need to use the service we advise that you book an appointment first visiting 111.nhs.uk or calling NHS 111, as this will help to speed up your treatment.
If you have a minor injury, you can still walk into the centres without an appointment.
