Hand hygiene advice
Regular hand washing is an effective way to reduce your risk of catching illnesses, including COVID-19.
You should wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser regularly throughout the day.
Hand santiser is widely available at all our main entrances and departments and should be used each time you enter or leave an area.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, and wash your hands, or use a sanitiser gel.
To help keep everyone safe during the pandemic our experienced clinicians are regularly reviewing our visiting guidance. View our visiting pages to ensure you are up to date with our latest information.
