From Scotch Corner (A1 / A66)
Leave the A1 / A66 at the Scotch Corner junction and take the Richmond A6108 road. At the roundabout, take the second exit to remain on the A6108. Travel along the road for four miles. At the roundabout continue on (signposted Market place/ Leyburn / Reeth) and in stay in left lane at the traffic lights. Continue on and, as the road goes downhill, move to the right lane for the next roundabout. At the roundabout turn right and the Friary is on your left hand side.
From Leyburn (A6108)
At the roundabout where the A684 meets the High Street (A6108) take the High Street option. Continue for two and a half miles and then go right at the T junction (signposted Catterick Camp / Reeth / Richmond A6108). In under a mile take the road on the left (signposted Richmond / Reeth A6108) and then in 800 yards bear round to the right. Continue on for seven miles and on reaching a roundabout take the first exit (signposted Market Place). Drive on up Queens Road for 300 yards. At the roundabout turn left and the Friary is on your left hand side.
From Catterick Garrison (A6136)
Follow the A6136 Richmond Road past the Tesco retail park which is on your left and continue for a further two and a half miles (during which you go straight ahead at one roundabout). You then cross over the river and the road curves round to the left and then rises turning to the right and then to the left. At the next roundabout take the second exit (straight on) and the Friary is on your left hand side.
Parking
There are 15 car park spaces available in the grounds at The Friary.
These spaces are free of charge for patients and visitors. Disabled parking is also available.
By bus
Local bus services provide regular links from Middlesbrough and most major towns in the North East. The major bus operators are Arriva and Stagecoach Transit.
