What does it mean to be Gold accredited?
As a gold award holder, South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust promise that we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives. We recognise the valuable skills that service leavers can bring into the NHS for our patients, and support veterans to gain and maintain employment through a variety of recruitment activity aimed at the Armed Forces, Veterans and families.
For our staff, this means a supportive recruitment process and links to specialised support services and networks throughout employment. The Trust also advocate the Armed Forces Covenant to our partner organisations, growing the local support to veterans.
