What we do
Occupational therapists help children and young people to participate and maximise their engagement, achievement, and independence in everyday activities such as play, self care, dressing and school.
Who are we?
We are made up of qualified occupational therapists, occupational therapy practititioners and therapy assistants working across South Tees NHS Foundation Trust.
All occupational therapists are registered with the Health and Care Professional Council.
We work with children and young people from birth up to 19 years of age who have difficulties or a disability which affects their ability to carry out everyday tasks.
Our team covers the area of Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.
We work closely with health and educational professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Children and young people are seen across a variety of setting such as nurseries, schools, clinics, hospitals and in their own home.
