Renal PatientView enables patients with renal disease to access information about their condition at home, including blood test results.
The system is produced by the Renal Information eXchange Group (RIXG) and is designed to help renal patients take an active role in the management of their condition.
Information is linked from our renal unit’s computer system, including blood test results and explanations about kidney disease and treatment.
Patients who would like to be able to access the system need to register for a username and password. Your renal consultant will be able to give you more information about how to do this.
Renal PatientView uses security systems to ensure that information is kept safe and cannot be viewed by anyone who is not authorised to do so. It’s important therefore to keep your password safe. The system is free to use.
