About Day One Trauma Support
Created by patients for patients, Day One provides practical and emotional support so people can rebuild their lives and look forward to the future.
Thanks to a partnership with South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Day One provides a caseworker on the trauma ward at The James Cook University Hospital.
If you or a loved one has had a traumatic injury, their friendly caseworker Lee Devitt can support you with any of the following:

- Benefits and welfare advice
- Peer support
- 24-hour counselling
