Carers Together
Carers Together Foundation is an organisation dedicated to improving carers’ quality of life.
What they offer:

Mobilise
An online platform which carers can access 24 hours per day 7 days a week via an app or website. The platform offers practical support to help carers cope; including hints and tips around emergency planning, benefits and savings toolkits.
Mind Teesside
Supporting children and adults who look after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of an illness, frailty, disability, mental health problem or in addition cannot cope without their support.
What they offer:
- One to one emotional support from our experienced and understanding team members
- Carers support plans support at meetings
- Information and advice
- Support groups and wellbeing workshops
- Signposting to our networks across the South Tees

Age UK Teesside
Age UK Teesside’s new Carers Connect Service offers support to Carers who are in need of a break from their caring role. *Redcar and Cleveland Only*
Carers Connect Services
A volunteer will have 1 to 2 hours contact time with the person you care for giving you access to a regular weekly break.
Available to people aged 50 and over living in the Redcar and Cleveland area.
Carers Connect Support Service is maintained by Age UK Teesside staff and volunteers and provides ad hoc or low level support. It is intended to supplement, rather than replace, existing services offered by health and social care. This service is subject to assessed needs.
Examples are:
- Assistance with shopping and prescription collection
- Accompanying to GP, hospital, sight, hearing appointments etc
- Support to attend Age UK Teesside, encouraging social interaction and confidence building
- Welfare calls
The Junction Foundation
An established charity for children, young people and families based in the Tees Valley area.
What they offer:
- Young carers service / next steps – young adult carers service
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing services
- Youth employment, education and skills services
