We assess, diagnose and treat communication and oro-pharyngeal swallowing disorders across several acute and primary inpatient services:
- The James Cook University Hospital
- Redcar Primary Care Hospital
- East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital
- The Friarage Hospital (with the exception of the Rutson Unit)

Therapists are also involved in training other health care professionals to screen for swallowing problems and to support patients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
