Do I take my usual medication?
Take all medication as normal or unless specifically asked prior to study.
How long does each test take?
EEG – up to one hour for routine recordings. Sleep recordings may take slightly longer, up to one hour and 30 minutes.
EMG – these range from 30 minutes to one hour in total.
How do I book patient transport?
Outpatient appointment – ambulance transport must be booked through your own GP.
What if I’m unable to attend?
Please inform department with as much notice as possible.
