Batteries can be collected by relatives or friends if they show the patient’s battery card/brown book.

At the South Tees we issue different models of hearing aids, and therefore different batteries are needed depending on the model.
Please make sure you know which batteries you need and receive the correct batteries from the issuing centres. We currently have three different sizes:

If you struggle to insert your hearing aid batteries the cleaning brush magnet may help you.
The magnet will only pick up the battery on one side, ensuring that you place the battery into the hearing aid correctly. Please see the pictures below:
