The psychology team is led by Emma Drummond.
They are available for emotional support and to help patients find ways to cope with the challenges of adjusting to a spinal cord injury.
They are involved throughout the patient’s stay in the centre and attend goal planning meetings.
Specialist psychological interventions are offered when indicated and an outpatient service is also available.
Patients’ partners and families are also welcome to meet with the clinical psychology team.
