Tell us something about your role people might not be aware of…
My role involves me working up to 50% clinically on the wards at time.
This ensures I have authenticity and real-time relevance in the strategic decision-making that I am involved in, and keeps me clinically up to date.
Most importantly it keeps me in touch with the issues, challenges and successes of the clinical team.
What do you like about working at South Tees in pharmacy?
South Tees pharmacy has an open door policy, feedback is actively sought from staff and flexibility and willing to change for the better is at the heart of a lot of the decisions made.
I have always felt valued and respected for my input by the team at South Tees and that the department is invested in my development. I am grateful that now I am in a position to put my time into investing in the growth and development of others.
